HR Test
- Do you check that all prospective employees are eligible to work in the UK and do follow up checks where necessary?
- Have you updated your employment contracts in line with changes from the Good Work Plan?
- Do you have the contractual right to lay off your employees in the event of a reduction or shortage of work?
- Do you make reasonable adjustments for disabled job applicants and employees?
- Are all employees’ pay rates, including piece workers, at least equivalent to the national minimum wage/national living wage?
- Do you provide employees with statutory breaks in accordance with the Working Time Regulations?
- Do your employees receive at least the statutory minimum (5.6 weeks) holidays per year and “a week’s pay” for each week of holiday taken?
